what is life?

There is a tree outside my bedroom, and today the inhabitors were very noisy. i stood on by the window and saw a baby bird on the ground below the tree. I'm guessing it fell from the nest last night. Being the animal lover that Iam, I decided to help it back to the tree. By the time i got to where the little bird was my cat
Furmooch (don't know where the crazy names come from), had torn its little body apart (shock!). Poor bird it never had a chance.
So, this got me thinking, how fast was that?, no one saw it coming.....except for Furmooch! If all our lives are like this bird's then we all lack control of anything we think we have control of.
Have u ever thought of the day u die?.... the surroundings of ur death......the cause of ur death....the reactions to ur death.......and most of all... the suprise on your face when u are floating in the air and seeing ur body laying there lifeless!
We make plans of what we want to happen in the future, the plans of ..years from now...months....weeks days..hours....even minutes, but we forget that the next second could be your last!
So, today i asked myself the million dollar question.. ''What is life?'', and i came to a conclusion that thinking of it could drive anyone crazy!

For now,  i have decided to live each second as though it is my last! (from a song....don't know which one)
